This game at first was amazing, with eerie surroundings, atmosphere, music, and plot,but fails due to it's goofy later plot. You don't have any weapons at your disposal, leaving you to rely on hiding places, stunning holy water, and your wits. The gore is moderate, there are a few cutscenes that i wouldn't show the kids though. The Windows version was not released in Europe. in Japan, and by Sunsoft in North America. The game was developed by Human Entertainment and published by Aspect Co. The gameplay is decent, sometimes turning around is tricky. Clock Tower is a point-and-click adventure game released for the PlayStation in 1997 and later ported to Microsoft Windows. the classic scissorman of the first games of the series is lacking in this one, but is replaced with a multitude of newer enemies. Yet unfortunately at the beginning of the third section, it all goes downhill, using mediocre jump scares, as well as a very thin plot that could be straight out of final fantasy, definately not fit for a game of it's genre. The first 2 levels and bosses of this game had this at at LEAST number 3 on my favorite games of all time list, next to silent hill 1 and 2.
